LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Developed to help school and district leaders strengthen their organizational capacity for student achievement. Our professional learning is focused on building leadership expertise and empowering learning, as reflected through instructional practices and classroom materials.  
 
Leveraging school and district administrators' current and historical experiences to define and achieve short and long-term goals is core to this work.  While participating in this program, educators will consider and clarify their moral purpose, and effectively evaluate their role as leaders.   They will define actions for personal growth while collaborating with peers as a unified team with shared understanding, knowledge, and tools.

Mission, Vision, Values

Our Mission, Vision, Values workshops emphasize using leaders’ current and historical experiences to develop long-term goals for the future. When participating in this course, educators will consider and clarify their moral purpose and effectively evaluate their role as leaders while they create statements for personal growth. Participants will also learn and apply criteria for defining effective mission and vision statements, re-evaluate their personal and professional values, and align them with their organizational goals. They will explore the circumstances that influence their professional responsibilities and then collaborate to develop and advocate for their mission, vision, and values.

 

Executive Coaching - Peer Coaching

Monthly sessions centered on a shared problem of practice. Executives will engage in a intellectually inspiring sessions developing a community of practice, resulting in leaders prepared to face, survive, and thrive facing the challenges of leading schools.

Executive Coaching -Individual Coaching

A five-session one-on-one cycle designed to accelerate growth for driven leaders looking to maximize their professional and personal resources. Utilizing a combination of cognitive, instructional, collaborative, consultative, and transformational approaches, motivated leaders will engage with focused and individual learning with an independent school turnaround expert.

The Forecast

The Forecast is a proven system development process in some of the most unexpected school turnaround examples in the last ten years. Especially valuable in forward-thinking districts demanding results without infinite resources, The Forecast is designed to support all executive leaders in developing a system based on the principles of transformational leadership.

Coaching for Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) Mastery

The Catalyst coaching model for Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports(MTSS) Mastery program is designed to enhance the skills and effectiveness of educational professionals by providing targeted support throughout the academic year.​ Through our comprehensive approach, participants will be empowered to implement effective MTSS strategies in their educational settings.

Positive School Culture is the foundation of high-performing schools and equitable student outcomes. Positive school culture is cultivated through intentional leadership, strong relationships, and systems that ensure every student is provided with the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support needed to succeed. Established through trust, unified purpose, restorative practices, and culturally responsive approaches, positive school culture fosters safe, inclusive learning environments where students’ identities are honored as assets and high expectations are paired with meaningful support.

In this session, participants will design a plan for introducing "The Power of Story" within their communities through communication with staff and students. They will practice engaging in meaningful and relevant conversations while developing practices that reflect various experiences and viewpoints, identifying priority actions and resources that will have the greatest impact on student learning outcomes.

Leveraging Our Stories And Our Assets

In this session, participants will collaborate to establish common meanings of important terminology related to promoting a welcoming school environment. They will share their personal narratives and examine how their life experiences connect to essential elements of effective teaching practices. Attendees will assess their current strengths and progress while devising strategies for fostering a supportive learning atmosphere through the theme of "The Power of Story."

Curating Professional Development and Student Learning Resources

In this session, participants will design a plan for introducing "The Power of Story" within their communities through communication with staff and students. They will practice engaging in meaningful and relevant conversations while developing practices that reflect various experiences and viewpoints, identifying priority actions and resources that will have the greatest impact on student learning outcomes.

Presenting Our Leadership Roadmap

In this session, participants will create actions that use culturally relevant texts to advance “The Power of Story” and develop a roadmap, including tasks, a timeline, and ownership of work that will create an empowering, welcoming learning community. They will also share and gather feedback on their roadmaps to collaborate, generate new ideas and resources.

FAMILY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Designed for school and district administrators to strengthen meaningful family and community engagement. Our programs empower educators to cultivate authentic, impactful partnerships that foster trust, collaboration, and shared responsibility for student success. By participating, educators will develop effective strategies for confidently engaging families and community stakeholders, gain practical tools to address challenges in partnership building, and inspire innovation, overcoming barriers to sustain strong, resilient school communities.
